Hope
“Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.”
-‘Andy’ in the letter he writes to ‘Red’, Shawshank Redemption
Undeniably the above are a tangling of words beautiful for their own succinct description and exactness.
But my unfettered mind still questions the extravagant adoration for hope.
Does being hopelessly hopeful really sound that hopeful? For sometimes hope may be worse than hopelessness.

hope may b worse than hopelessness, nevertheless, thts the motivation which keeps one kicking..!! and i truly believe tht dialog frm Shawshank..!!
@Harish
So do I.
I vouch on hope.
It's hope that kept me sailing through turbulence.
Its times when life gives you dissapointment with a surprising regularity, that you start searching for the modest truth!
And that's what I'm doing precisely right now, albeit without loosing hope ;)
Faint hope is still better than hopelessness. But yes it keeps us trying too hard with narrow chances to succeed.
When we say its a hopeless situation it means we are mentally prepared to give up.
I completely understand tht, and its good to c u to take the +ves..!! damn i need to stop giving such serious comments..!!
@Praveen
Very true!
I guess the problem lies not in hope itself but dwelling "just" on hope..
We forget to set the threshold..which needless to say is difficult to sketch out in the first place!
Again...I wonder why all the discussions follow a vicious cycle?? :D
@Harish
Hahahahaha..
Need I say? Words of wisdom pouring from someone obtuse is gratuitous..indeed!
whtever..!!! atleast its words of wisdom, better than otherwise, from a few..!! :D
